To fulfill our mission, we are looking for a (Senior) DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), full-time or part-time in the Regensburg area in home office, who enjoys driving innovations in an international team with us.

Your Mission: Build, Monitor, and Optimize

• Spearhead the implementation and ongoing management of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
• Utilize your expertise in developing and executing strategies for scalable and secure network architectures within a cloud environment
• Lead the design and maintenance of network infrastructure, acting as the primary liaison for network-related concerns and developments
• Play a pivotal role in advancing our network transformation initiatives, focusing on innovative cloud automation solutions and DevOps methodologies
• Tackle complex troubleshooting, perform rigorous system recovery testing, and optimize cloud-based resources for peak performance
• Administer and fine-tune cloud network structures, ensuring their robustness and efficiency
• Oversee the deployment of new network nodes, maintaining high standards of reliability, accessibility, and throughput
• Conduct regular updates and maintenance on our servers, firewalls, and the accompanying suite of hardware and software
• Ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes for new cloud-based applications
• Configure and maintain servers, both new and existing, to align with evolving cloud infrastructure requirements
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters within our cloud ecosystem

What you bring with you

You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or at least 5 years of work experience as an IT specialist for system integration, system administrator, or a comparable qualification? Professional:

• Expert knowledge in Linux server administration
• Expertise with CI/CD pipelines for automating development, testing and deployment process using Jenkins, as well as practical scripting experience (Bash, Powershell, Python)
• Very good knowledge of NGINX, SQL
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructures and container orchestration platform using Kubernetes and Docker. Helm Charts is a strong plus
• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Strong knowledge of system security techniques
• Experience in automating administrative tasks
• Knowledge with automated configuration management / infrastructure management using Ansible / Terraform

Personal:

• Reliably work ethics and have the ability to organize yourself
• Characterized by a positive mindset and a real ability to work in international teams
• Very good English skills
• Interest in further development of your skills, knowledge, and competencies
• Open to new things and you are enthusiastic about building new systems and network structures
• Compliance with current QA standards is not a minor matter for you
